What is an RXBAR?
An RXBAR is a protein bar made with a short list of high quality, whole food ingredients. With a base of egg whites, fruit and nuts, each RXBAR contains no added sugar and provides 12 grams of protein in 212 calories or less. Gluten free, soy free and dairy free, enjoy RXBARs pre or post workouts, in between meals, or as a quick, convenient breakfast.
What does the RX in RXBAR stand for?
RXBAR was born in the world of CrossFit, where good nutrition is key to success and achieving your goals. In CrossFit terms, RX means performing a workout exactly as prescribed – a high standard. We don’t cut corners at RXBAR and set high standards for ourselves. That’s why we’re RXBAR.
What is the shelf life of RXBARs?
The shelf life of our bars is 10 months from the date they are made. Find the exact Best By date printed under the fin of the RXBAR.
Are RXBARs Whole30® compliant?
Yes. With the exception of our Peanut Butter bar, all RXBAR flavours are Whole30® compliant. We recommend consulting with Whole30® on how to best use RXBARs on your Whole30®.

Is RXBAR owned by a larger company?
Yes. RXBAR is owned by Kellogg, and we're excited to be a part of their team. With their support and resources, RXBAR will be able to deliver high-quality products with the best ingredients to more people. RXBAR will continue to operate as a standalone company.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer free next day tracked & signed delivery for orders of 2 or more boxes.
When will my order arrive?
We do our best to ship out in-stock orders the next business day. Once your order leaves our facility, you can expect next day delivery for UK domestic orders placed before 4pm. UK domestic includes Scotland, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. For Republic of Ireland and Scottish Islands the delivery time is 2 days.
How do I track my order?
As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking ID number. If you have an RXBAR account, you can also find your tracking ID number in the Order History section of My Account.

What are natural flavours?
Our natural flavours are oils, essence and extracts from natural sources, such as spices, fruit, plants or vegetables.
Why do you use natural flavours?
Quality and consistency. When you open an RXBAR, it should taste and smell the same every time, and natural flavours help make that happen.
Do you list all of your ingredients on the front of the package?
We put egg whites, dates and nuts on the front of the pack because those are the core ingredients in all of our products.
- These ingredients make up the majority of the product (by net weight).
- They drive the nutritional value of the product and provide a combination of high-quality protein, healthy fat, and fiber.
- You can see the full nutrition statement on the back of the package.
But why does the front only feature some ingredients?
It’s the introduction to the product. It’s the first thing your eyes see as you walk by the shelf at a grocery store. This is our way of communicating the value of our product: high-quality, clean ingredients.

How much protein does each bar contain?
You’ll find 12 grams of protein in every RXBAR. Nuts contribute to the protein count, but the majority of that protein comes from egg whites. As a complete source of protein, egg whites have a high bioavailability, which means it’s easy for your body to absorb.
Are RXBARs vegan?
No. Each bar contains (fully pasteurised) egg whites.
What’s NOT in an RXBAR?
- No Added Sugar.
- No Dairy.
- No Soy.
- No Gluten.
- No B.S.
There are also no artificial colours, artificial flavours, preservatives or fillers.
Are your products Non-GMO?
Yes, our ingredients are Non-GMO.
Are you Project Verified?
Most of our ingredients are inherently Non-GMO, so we don’t think the certification is necessary. There are a ton of certifications that you can pay for, and we’re selective about the ones we pursue. For ingredients that are not inherently Non-GMO, like natural flavours, we partner with select suppliers that meet our standards to ensure Non-GMO ingredients.
Do RXBARs contain allergens?
Yes. Eggs, almonds, cashews, peanuts and coconut can be found in RXBARs. Allergens vary by flavour, so always check the ingredients before eating an RXBAR and consult your doctor if you have questions.
NOTE: May contain cereals containing gluten, soy, peanuts, milk and other nuts.
Are your egg whites cooked?
The egg whites we use are not raw. Our egg whites go through a high heat, time and temperature controlled pasteurization process to ensure they're safe to eat.
Exchanges & Returns
I’d like to return my RXBAR purchase. What now?
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please reach out to us at email@example.com. Our customer service team will be happy to either replace your purchase or issue you a refund.
Please note that returns or exchange requests must be made within 30 days of their delivery date. Additionally, there must be no more than 3 bars missing from each returned package for a full refund.
How do I Return or Exchange a Box of RXBARs?
For a refund or exchange on your purchase, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a prepaid return slip.
Once your package is received, we will process your request and issue your refund. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used at checkout. For exchanges, items will be shipped within 5-7 business days.
What do I do if my bar is defective/damaged?
Our bars undergo thorough quality assurance procedures to ensure they live up to our high standards. However, if you find a damaged or defective bar upon arrival that doesn't meet your expectations, please send us a photo of the defect so that we can assess the situation and prevent it from happening again. We will either replace the bars or issue you a full refund, whichever you prefer.
